Re-Create the World Wednesdays

bigstockphoto_Be_Life_432383 Okay, Wednesdays are the day to let your imagination RUN WILD! What would you like to see in the world? What would you change or re-do? The sky is NO limit, there ARE no limits! Let’s create the world we WANT to live in!!!!!

Expand on a topic or create your own, most importantly, have fun! And BELIEVE!

Today I’m recreating Main Street in my town!

* At the top of Main Street is the most magical metaphysical store full of fairies, crystals, angels, books, jewelry from local artists and everything else that stirs the imagination! We hold readings, classes for telepathy, and magic workshops. I’m naming the store “Ascend”, so that when people say “I’m going to Ascend,” it will be a self-fulfilling prophecy! ;)

* Across the street from Ascend is the most wonderful Organic Juice Bar full of delicious, nutritious smoothies that delight all ages!

* There’s a large building down the street called “Earth Enchantment Center” where children (and adults) learn about the gifts of the Earth. We learn about the magical use of herbs, plants, flowers, and mushrooms. We learn how to communicate and program crystals. There is rock-climbing wall, a pottery corner, and a place where children can tend to their own plants and gardens while learning to talk to the elementals and animals!

* At the foot of Main Street, right on the river, is the family-orientated “Fat Turtle Tavern.” It serves the most delicious, inventive, organic dishes and the beer is brewed on premises. It’s full of over-stuffed leather chairs and couches. Train tables are at each booth and a train runs along the ledge of the ceiling, delighting all the children. Every week there is “Bikes, Bellies, and Beer Night,” where local cyclists meet up for a bike ride that ends up at the Fat Turtle Tavern, where the belly-dancing commences!

* Each week the roads are closed to cars as everyone comes to town for “Garden-Share-Day,” where everyone brings the veggies, flowers, fruits, eggs, honey, etc from their own gardens and exchange it ~ no money needed! Local musicians, performers, balloons, and magicians entertain the delighted crowd!

* The park has a HUGE wishing fountain and the most beautiful, magical carousel. Children bring their nurtured plants from the “Earth Enchantment Center” and plant them in the park for all to enjoy. This park is the big meeting center for the community, and is always full of happy people, magical events, dancing, plays, and concerts. ALL FREE of course!

WOW! That was soooooo much fun!

That’s my world re-created! Re-Create your world today or simply post your Magic.

Either way, I love you!

KATE!!! I would absolutely move to your town!!! <3

I am creating a world where children are heard for the amazing teachers they are!

I am creating a homeschooling/unschooling and parenting support center in every town! People can go to receive the support they deserve as a parent. Homeschooling/unschooling parents and groups can get together and play and learn with each other.

I am creating a world where everyone (particularly women) love and accept their incredible and gorgeous bodies! It's time people see their bodies as the amazing things they are!

  2. katestreet Says:

Oh, Mariposa, this gives me chills…..I love you.

  3. El Says:

oh i love both of those!!!!
i am creating a world where mamas and dadas dont have to work unless they want to so that all children had a parent at home!!! a world that you could bring your children anywhere you wanted if you wanted so you could meet w/ friends, workout, learn, laugh and no one would look at you or your children w/ not nice faces, a world where everyone in your communtily would look after each other and each others children, there would never be finincial stress, every one would be excepted for who they are, a world where making healthy choices for you and your family would not cost more but cost less!! so everyone can have the opportunity to be healthy happy and blessed, a world where everytown was like the essex town kate describe above!!!!!!!
also a world where everyone had the time to really enjoy thier family, take the time to enjoy the toddlers pace and no one ever rushed anywhere!!!!! oh yes and a world where everyone was patient all the time so there was never any yelling!!

I am creating a world where our first instinct and first reaction is one of love.

We know ourselves, trust ourselves and love ourselves…therefore it is simple and easy for us to know each other, place our full trust in one another and love one another.

We give people the benefit of the doubt, listen, learn and share.

  6. mamazen Says:

Yes yes YES! This is amazing. I want all of my neighbors to have children my son’s age, and to be couples my husband and I love to hang out with, and to all be parenting in ways similar to the way we are parenting. Friday nights we’d all be at one house or another making music and singing together as families. There would be a neighborhood supper club, so each of us cooks some fabulous organic meal only one night a week. Morning mama meditation on the dock with mamas taking turns doing simultaneous morning playdate to watch the kids. Everyone unschools, and everyone feels supported and accepted. Giant community organic garden. Sunday morning circle on the beach to chant the gayatri mantra together. A tribe.

  7. Kristen Says:

I just want to say that I just love all the responses!!!!
I’m dreaming of a world where my kids can go to a nature based learning program for 3 hours a day (to be honest any great co-op space). A place where they would make amazing friends who care and respect one another and the environment. This time would allow me the down time I need to nurture my soul.

  8. Rachel Says:

WOW!!! This ALL sounds wonderful!!! WONDERFUL!!!

While reading all this the realization came to me how important it is to do this….I have found in my own life that you DO get what you ask for. But you Do have to put it out there in the universe.
My husband and i both dream of restaurants that serve great fresh organic local food AND have toys!! So I love the train table idea…Trains in EVERY restaurant!!! How hard could it be?

    • katestreet Says:

Seriously, right? How hard could THIS be????

I LOVE Re-Create the World Wednesdays ~ what a beautiful world we’re all making!!! :)

  9. Samantha Says:

I love recreate the world wednesdays because they remind us that the world is reflecting us. It reminds me that to create a peaceful loving world, I need to allow myself that love and peace by letting go of the past, and embracing myself, limitless, in this moment.

I am blessed to be here in this day, in this hour, in this moment!

I am allowing old feelings of dis-ease and letting them go, knowing they are only ghosts, they are echos of the past.

Today I celebrate the limitless love of this moment! For me, recreate the world wednesday is restoration wednesday!

How blessed we are! What a miracle is this day! Happy Recreation through Restoration Wednesday! :D
