My Everyday Magic!
* Talking to my parents last night and learning that my dad actually ordered a pair of wings to take up his role as “The Grandpa Fairy”!!! I love it!!!
* Hearing wonderful stories about my parents visit to my Grandad.
* Quantum Shifting of perspectives!!!! AMAZING when this happens!
* Deciding to smother my beloved with LOVE on an on-going basis, just like when we fell in love.
* Putting together a “Snack-Table” for my family full of fruits, veggies, seeds, and nuts that they can go to anytime they feel hungry ~ simple and brilliant!
* Anticipating a fun, peaceful day with my little boys today!!
I want to see pictures of “Grandpa Fairy” when he gets his wings!!
Me too! I am happily looking forward to the appearance of “Grandpa Fairy”!!
–love the granpa wings. and the snack table is brilliant. we are total grazers here too.
OMG we will TOTALLY need pictures of Grandpa Fairy!!! So exciting!!!!!
and I love imagining you being all lovey dovey with your honey!
and of course, easy access snacks is totally brilliant…I need to get this more organized for myself–er family–more often!
Kate — I like your grazing station. I was considering something similar but with a cold-fighting slant (oranges, ginger, etc). Happy muching.
* hot tea
* warm sweaters
* snowy hills to sled on
* a plan for today
* downloadable audio books
* family skate at a local rink
A walk in the woods on our property yesterday with my sweet husband–the sun was shining through the trees, the air was warm, and there was an abundance of deer tracks in the snow–we also saw a woodpecker in its tree, high above us!
Satisfaction in knowing that deer, woodpeckers, and so many other animals who wander around our property feel comfortable in doing so, safe from being “hunted”.
My brother inviting my boys to spend the weekend at his house, so they can have “Uncle/Nephew time” (in his own words), and knowing that my boys are THRILLED about it!
Anticipating a weekend alone with Hubby!!
Four boxes of donations ready to take to Goodwill, and knowing I’ll have more soon, as I continue to clear the clutter and disorganization from my house–so refreshing!!
Oh My Goodness ~ a weekend ALONE with hubby! I can only fantasize about it!!! How wonderful!!!
- waking up to a phone call from my husband! He only left last night but I already miss him!
- delicious breakfast at a friend’s restaurant!
- seeing many pregnant women and many babies/little kids enjoying a fun outing in a kid’s friendly place!
- slowly drinking my Latte while chatting with grown ups!!!
- finding pants that fit for my son that were on sale!
- finding out he needs to look in the men’s department for shirts/t-shirts from now! Lol!
- easy drive to come back home.
- easily booking a babysitter for my daughter next Friday while I’ll be at the Book Fair with my son. In fact, the babysitting thing has turn into a kid’s swap: I’ll take my friend’s oldest to the Fair while she watch my youngest.
- planning a cool craft with the kids: they will make their own Dream’s Catchers!
- Reading about the Grandpa Fairy!!! What a cool man he is!!!
*Loving this long list of magic!!
*Loved chatting with you a few moments ago!
I know what you mean Valerie- my oldest son (14 yrs old) is now in men’s clothes, and both sons (my youngest is 10 yrs old) wear men’s shoes!! Have you noticed the price difference between boy’s and men’s shoes? Whew!!
*finding a skuut bike at the consignment shop, 1 hold on it, keeping our fingers crossed for them to pass—and they did! funny thing is, we were thinking about getting the skuut for ds’s birthday this weekend, seesawing b/c of the price and decided to go for it and were going to shop for a new one over the weekend. that was some magical manifesting!
*we would never have been in the consignment shop if i hadn’t called to reschedule our appt, and they happened to have a cancellation for friday afternoon, so i had to rush into the shop in like 15 minutes. and there was the bike staring at me! i’m still marvelling at our skills
*cupcakes. specifically, toasted marshmallow frosting/chocolate cake/graham cracker bottom. also, chocolate pretzel frosting with chocolate cake.
*digging the garden up, so much morning glory moved to the yard waste container, many flower seeds planted instead.
*hyacinths, crocuses, daffodils!
*buy one get one free coffee coupons
*snuggles with the kiddos
Oh, Leah, those cupcakes sound delicious-my mouth is watering!
I LOVE hyacinths, crocuses, and daffodils, especially daffodils–in fact, last night, I was dreaming about where I was going to plant some this spring!!
my two kitties: the full grown one who has been with us 3+ years, and and the half grown one who has been with us for several weeks, deciding to nap on my lap together! I’ve been hoping for this. When I stretch my legs out, there’s room.
