Sparkling a Little Fairy!

Post your MAGIC and then name something you LOVE about Sundays!

My Everyday Magic

* A wonderful new family hike down by the river yesterday where the little boys loved scaling the rocks! So peaceful, so beautiful ~ the BEST part of the day!

* A good night’s sleep after 4 days of fitful sleep. Whew!

* Waking up to snow AND sun!

* LOVING that we’re now growing 3 apple trees, 1 lemon tree, cilantro, broccoli and mushrooms …all in my office!

* Homemade chicken noodle soup.

* Empowering “Opposite George” Magic yesterday and The Rainbow Faery inspiring some of us to become “Pissed Whisperers” instead of yellers….LOVE IT!

What I LOVE about Sundays:

1.) It’s usually a long, lazy family day.

2.) I’ve developed a new WONDERFUL habit of running to the river (BY MYSELF!) and talking to a special tree. :)

3.) My dear hubby makes us something YUMMY for dinner that lasts us into Monday.

4.) We watch “America’s Funniest Home Videos” as a family and laugh, laugh, laugh!

What do YOU love about Sundays? I love YOU! :)

*No work, no soccer game, no meetings, no obligations!

Mu hubby taking our boy out to visit friends for the afternoon, and I have been here with just the kitties for hours!!! I’ve been needing a “day off” and this is it. I’ve just been doing what I feel like in the moment, ignoring the phone and the doorbell and dancing around the kitchen.

    • Shell Says:

Zanna I love this!!!!! And I totally ingore the phone on a regular basis…with no guilt anymore…I value my alone time above everythign else it seems…so sacred to me! And dancing arond the kitchen with the kitties sounds divine to me!

      • Jenny Says:

My kids and I also dance around the kitchen and use spatulas, ladles, or whatever else we can find for “microphones”!!

  5. Shell Says:

*Loving hearing about everyone’s gardens, especially that they are all indoors right now! lol…this inspires me.

*The new magic page, I LOVE it of course!!

*Missing someone…makes me appreciate and love them that much more!

    What I love about Sundays:
-We don’t have to go anywhere if we don’t want to
-I can take as long as I want waking up
-We often spend hours at the beach if so inclined
-Time to catch up on stuff I didn’t get done during the week
-We don’t even have to get dressed if we dont want to lol
-Cartoons, movies on the weekend, vegging out
-I especially love that for us, Saturdays are often just like Sundays! LOL!

    * All this Sunday MAGIC! :)

  7. Jenny Says:

Going to a HUGE Home & Garden show with Hubby yesterday (we were there 7 hours!!) and getting all kinds of ideas on making our home our “Oasis”, both inside and out–now if we could only win the lottery….:0)

Going out for drinks with my sweet Hubby after the show. We overheard two women next to us at the bar, complaining about their boyfriends and how they wish they could find the “right guy” and Hubby and I were talking about how thankful we are to have each other!

Our boys are back home with us after spending the weekend with their uncle!

The sound of heavy wind blowing through the trees around our house–so beautiful and peaceful, truly nature’s wind wind-chimes!!

    I Love Sundays because…

*We usually sleep in a little bit.
*I can keep my warm fuzzy robe on a lot longer.
*I make a big country breakfast for everybody and we all sit at the table together and eat and talk with no TV, video games or computers!
*Snuggling on the couch (with me still in my robe) after breakfast and watching the Travel Channel or The Food Network or The Home and Garden Channel or an old movie or a new movie, or anything at all……!!
    *Crock Pot Dinner!!!!

  8. Carrie Says:

A rainy sunday mostly spent reading while the kids happily played
    Family dinner
All the boys going off for a walk and enjoying choosing to stay home to read
    Playing board games
    Dh being home all day

  9. * getting half of what I’d planned to make this morning made, and prep done for the rest. That’s better than my usual “none”!

    * listening to my family giggle and jump as they made a stop-motion lego film while I did my kitchen waltz

    * meeting awesome friends at the rink to skate

    * coming home to a big pot of soup already on the stove and in hungry bellies within minutes of opening the door.

    * snuggle time before bed watching said movie and their previous production (aptly named “A Fairy Adventure”) and bonding again as a family in the aftermath of unpleasantness earlier in the day
