* A solo walk in the woods yesterday that totally changed my vibe and encouraged me not to “take myself so seriously.”

* The music that is making me SMILE today is my little 2 year old singing his version of “Veggie Tales”. He sings it in his sleep, upon awakening, and on the phone to his grandparents!

*A hilarious surprise – finding 16 (!!!) eggs in the seat of the Baby Jogger! Seems our chickens found a new place to nest. lol (It has been broken down so they use their nesting box from now on, thank goodness)
*Going out for fondue with a friend on the weekend.
*Spending the morning outside with my youngest, collecting wood for the firepit.
*Building gnome and faery houses!
*Laughter!

-The financial stability to spend almost $1000 on new tires without feeling stress about it. (And have them throw in an oil change too.)

Getting an appointment very fast with the dentist to get medicine for a painful tooth.

Tooth doesn’t react to hot/warm drinks (cold makes it hurt) so I’m indulging in wonderful teas!

My musical magic today came when I was listening to the radio in my car and heard the original La Bamba by Ritchie Valens! I love that song.
I had a good day at work today but am looking forward to working only a half day tomorrow. That means a long walk in the morning with my dog and then watching Dr. Phil (My guilty pleasure!)
I am so grateful for having a dream about my dad last night. He passed away 10 years ago but still communicates with me in my dreams. He has been absent from my dreams lately, but reappeared in a dream last night.

*robot birthday party for our 2 yr old included: robots made from marshmallows and pretzel sticks, robot music–kraftwerk and beastie boys intergalactic, etc
, big black and silver robot made by my 5 yr old hanging on the door. super fun.
*the robot dance performed by my 2yr old and 5 yr old, absolutely nothing cuter in the world
*watching marley and me with the kids, enjoying picturing our life like that, a happy family with 3 kids and funny dog in a cool house with a big yard and lots of good times. 5 yr old and I agreed wholeheartedly that it sounded really good to us!
*our 2yr old and 5 yr old playing the drums together, my 2 yr old explaining they are being scary monkeys *lol*
*maple bacon ice cream on my oat meal
*scoring 2 or 3 new outfits for me and a silver sequined sweater for my dd’s dress up clothes at goodwill for a song!
*we got our tax return!!!!!
*planning on taking ds to the photo booth tonight for his solo birthday photo session, our recently enacted family tradition, solo photobooth strips on your birhtday.
*spending all afternoon in the sun yesterday gardening with the whole family

Funny that it’s music Monday! Today is the first day after getting a new monitor and I was introduced to an awesome site that exposes me to new artists. I really like how easy it is and so far I’ve enjoyed most of the music I wouldn’t have even thought to have look up.
