More Laughter Magic!
Last week’s laughter magic was so fun, my belly’s achin’ for more!
*Okay Everyone, take a deeeep slow breath in…and as you breath out the last of the air in your lungs, let out a “Ho Ho Ha Ha Haaa!!!!!”
*HERE is a laughter meditation video, join in the circle and just laugh as hard as you can, or giggle, or just laugh at how ridiculous everyone looks and sounds!
*My all time favorite laughing baby video…you can’t not laugh through this!
*Ok, one more video…you MUST see this one!!! Contagious laughter in the metro
*I LOVE that laughter is contagious, and is understood in all languages amongst people all over the world.
*Once you get a good belly laugh going, its hard to stop. I dare you to try.
*Be the weirdo at work literally laughing out loud at your desk, for no apparant reason!
*When your child does something ridiculous, or even offensive, trying to push your buttons, break out into an uncontrollable-rolling-on-the-floor-and-can’t-get-up laugh, until you’re in tears…they won’t know what to do…
*Here’s a joke about kids and honesty: A young boy, about 4 years old came screaming out of the bathroom to tell his mom he’d dropped his toothbrush in the toilet. She fished it out and threw it in the garbage. The boy stood there thinking for a moment, then ran to her bathroom and came out with her toothbrush. He held it up and said with a charming little smile, “We better throw this one out too then, ’cause it fell in the toilet a few days ago.

Haha about the toothbrush!
Last night we were watching America’s Funniest Home videos. I like how that show is funny no matter what your age is.
I am still telling my corny jokes at dinner time every night. My family thinks they are corny, but secretly, I think they like it. I’ll tell the toothbrush one tonight if that’s okay.
Magic:
Having a few minutes to sit down and count my blessings before starting my day!
Looks like the rain stopped so I think a bike ride is in order!
Got a great night’s sleep!
Didn’t overschedule myself today so we don’t overdo it.
This new day! It is a blessing to be alive and healthy. Plus I get a chance to try to be patient all over again
*hugs* to you nichole, yes every day is a fresh new start…in fact, every moment is! I have a hard time being patient with my rambunctious boys, so I can relate!
and I’d love to hear some of your corny jokes! my friends and family tease me about telling lame jokes all the time, so it sounds like we have a lot in common! LOL (and yes, your family totally does secretly love your corny jokes, trust me)
After six years of parenting, it is getting better, but there is still room for improvement. I’m learning on the job
Guess what I woke up to in my email??? The fact that this Sunday is “WORLD LAUGHTER DAY!!!!” And that Hartford, CT is inviting people to join them to celebrate this day ~ I’m so proud of my home-state for doing this!!!!!!
I LOVED the “Contagious Laughing on the Metro” video ~ I didn’t think I”d watch all of it, but I did and had tears of laughter while my boys giggled beside me ~ LOVE IT!!!!

laughters: I spent Sunday laughing with my husband! Then we laugh again yesterday and then…
We just had to laugh this morning when we woke up to snow! lol And Christmas music on the radio, lol!
MEM:
using the fireplace once again! (hey! there must have a positive side to snow in late April – lol!)
I started a wonderful yoga-meditation class last friday! Kate, my teacher knows Drunvalo!
I had a magical day at the homeschooling convention on Saturday!
My daughter is very excited that I bought Chakra’s stones for her and awaite the Full Moon to charge them!
My daughter has her own sense of style and, without ever seeing the show, would fit just right in on the show Fame with her tights, shorts and Babylegs. lol
I know what I’ll make for supper tonight!
How cool you’re working with someone who knows Drunvalo!
My kids make me laugh everyday, I haven’t been this carefree and happy since I was a kid! Today we chased each other with and rolled about in newly cut grass, I love ending up in a laughing heap with them.
I had such a magical day. We have a big green outside that the houses on our road circle round. One of the dads and some of the kids put up a rope and tyre swing and rope ladder for tree climbing. Its been there a while and I have been wishing our garden was big enough to have this set up but then I wouldn’t have had a great time with my neighbour this morning
She is a grandma to 2 boys on our road and has lived there since her kids were small. We have talked on the street before but today she invited us into her garden to show us her beach hut, she had always wanted a beach hut and not being able to have one by the sea her husband built her one in the garden. It is BEAUTIFUL she has collections of shells and pebbles, pictures, chairs, mermaids & seahorses. I felt so happy to be invited into her special place. My boys played in her garden while we chatted, she showed me all the trees she planted behind her house that have protection orders on them
and then she gave us some plants. Later we drew her pictures and dropped them over

My Magic-
*also Laughter…sharing a moment of red-faced-tears-streaming laughter wit dh this morning…brought me right back to our old times. It’s fun to be silly!
*Friendship– a quick conversation with a close friend can put a spring in my step…and remind me that I *can* have adult interactions
*Seedling getting so big, reminding me that the cold outside is almost gone and all of the blooming that’s about to happen (to people, too
)
Today at the bus stop, I just felt so much love toward my six year old. He was so cute, standing there, acting cool, talking to his friends.
Got my errands done early and got invited last minute to meet a friend at the mall. What a nice surprise!
After the mall, my son was so well behaved listening to a CD while I prepped my veggies for dinner. The quiet was so nice.
Had a good brainstorm of things to cook for dinner next week instead of the same old, same old.
I have so much to be thankful for! I’m so lucky. The rest of my day is going to be awesome. I do not feel tired or stressed at all. I have a cup of green tea waiting for me during the chaos of homework and dinner.
By the way, why was the dog sweaty?
Because he was a hot dog!
You know what is funny. My 3yo doesn’t get this joke so he will ask people “why was the dog sweaty” and then when they say, “why?” He’ll say “because he was a pickle.”
LOL I love the image of your 3yo telling a joke that he doesnt quite get…then again, maybe he knows something we don’t…!
*The Orlando Magic swept the series last night. That’s not everyday magic, it’s first time in the franchise history magic.
*great workout at the gym
*beautiful weather
*getting things done and feeling good about it
*a playdate here with a good friend and her son this afternoon
Finally watched the contagious laughing and baby laughing videos. Thanks for sharing those. Check out this one with the baby in her bumbo seat.
That was great! Kinda creepy! But still I was crackin up… LOL =)
very silly. love the teleport button!
MEM:
Feeling the lightness of everyone’s posts today–It really lightened me up.
Feeling financially abundant, even if I’m a little tired
Taking advantage of work coming my way and “making hay while the sun shines”
Having a glass of wine soon!
Yoga
Being thoroughly immersed in my Stephen King book, “Under the Dome.” I am almost at the end and I can’t wait to read what happens. What a great book–it is like the Stephen King books of the 1970s and 80s even though it is a recent book.
Meeting a group of great people today.
Enjoying the complete change in my weekly routine this week. It is so nice sometimes to have routine changed.
I feel you lightened already! =) Don’t forget to take slow, deep breaths…and if you want to, laugh out the last of the air in your lungs before you inhale again. It’s very fun and relaxing. =)
Remembering when my kids and I came up with the expression “getting the giggles” which meant total and absolute giving over to laughter about something–anything! When one of us was overcome with laughter, someone would say, “oh she’s got the giggles!” and start laughing too.
The cathartic release of laughter!
A favorite joke
A: Who’s bigger, Mr. Bigger or Mr. Bigger’s baby?
B: Mr. Bigger’s baby, because he’s a little Bigger.
I love plays on words. And speaking of….My DH won the local Pun-Off Championship twice.
Oh Lisa that is priceless! The giggles, yes! And I LOVE your joke and the word play! I’m having a ridiculous amount of fun today… =D
I remember in one laughter exercise I was doing one evening along with some other people, where we had to tell whatever we may have been stressing about, but we HAD to laugh, smile and sound really happy about it. It puts a ridiculous perspective on everything, and gives you a chance to vent while releasing endorphins all at the same time! It was awesome, we were all laughing and having a great time while we were yelling obsenities about our $h!^#@ day at work, or our how awesome it was when the baby puked all over us and the fresh bedsheets…
This one exercise totally changed my life. Sounds strange when described, but when I was actually doing it, I just FELT so much better. Can’t even explain it, lol!
Enjoying the very relaxed home day we had on this chilly, rainy day (decided not to go to homeschool co-op since ds got a bug bite yesterday and his forehead and eyes are swollen)
watching my son look better as the day went on
finally feeling recovered from all the birthday busy-ness
Reading How to Train Your Dragon to my boy, and both of us enjoying it immensely.
working on another collage
the laundry is done and the house is much tidier than it was this morning (well, parts of it, anyway).
feeling happy to be me.
