What is fabulous in your life right now?
I have been enjoying just ‘being’ this past week. We’ve had no where in particular to go, nothing in particular to do and we’ve just flowed with the week and loved it.
Some of my favorite highlights from this fabulous week:
* Catching and releasing minnows
* Enjoying the deliciousness of reading novels in the evening in the sun
* Feeling inspired….allowing new and interesting creative projects to flow
* Delighting in the warmth of the sun and loving summer for all her gifts
* Beginning the week with my beloved and loving how much fun it is to spend time with him
* Playing with the boys outside…water balloons, baseball
* Riding our bikes to run errands
* Conversations with my beloved, with friends and family that have nurtured my soul
* Love

*New mosquito repellent bandanas, which will hopefully make it possible to be outside a little!
*Email, phone, texting – making it possible to stay in touch with those far away!
*My son got over his fear of water enough to float for a whole minute!!!!
*Seeing all the things I have made by hand in my home!
*Magic!!! (more please!) lol

Yay!! Just Being rocks!! I need more of that in my life
but it’s also fun having great stuff to do! It’s a win-win-win! 
~ Seeing my family last night for a lovely dinner!
~ Kicking off my Birthday Weekend tonight with my favorite musicians and friends
~ Finally getting some soil and repotting my little tomato plant!
~ Talking to a new friend who has her own business about all of our great ideas!
~ Getting excited about my birthday party tomorrow!
~ Spending the day with my girl and being really present with her
~ Spending yesterday with a sweet, sweet baby!

My Magic
~My Birthday is coming and I am CELEBRATING, even if no one else does- my fam stopped throwing me parties at 15 and my dh is not the organise a party type.
~Going to a bead show a coupla hours away to buy more supplies so I can make more pretties!!
~This cold being a small cold- sore throat, a little nasal stuff, but no other yucky stuff
~The possibility of having real pizza- found a place along the way that makes pizza with vegan cheese and vegan pepperoni- YUM!! I make an awesome homemade version, but there’s something to be said about being able to order food straight up when you have dietary restrictions.

You can always throw yourself a birthday party! I did that one year. I threw myself a party with cake, balloons, my friends and I even made loot bags to give all my girlfriends when they left! It was so much fun!

My Everyday Magic!
* Nude sun-bathing in the privacy of my gardens! (I’ve never done this before and it’s now my belief that everyone’s bum should be sun-kissed!
)
* Gathering plantain leaves, dandelion greens, and lettuce from our yard to put in our tacos!!!
* Using our own tomatoes on our tacos!!
* Tacos and knowing exactly what my children will eat for every meal for the next couple of days!
* Blueberry picking with my littles in the rain this morning!
* Homemade blueberry juice (with some ginger root and sparkling water ~ yummmm!!!!)
* Going out to lunch as a family RIGHT NOW!!

ohhh also finding some veggies in our garden and discovering a pumpkin that is growing, we planted pumpkins 2 years ago and they are coming up now, sooo fun!!!

* Feeling good about the “final mix” for the new CD release—which is taking much longer than anticipated, and that’s OK!

* Having NO bookings until 2011 scheduled at this point, and radically trusting and expecting that the Universe will provide the perfect contacts and connections!

Staying true to my kids and our family’s comforts and beliefs when it is hard with extended family.
getting the urge to purge more “stuff” from our home that doesn’t bring us incredible pleasure and happiness making space in our home. Turning our home into our sacred oasis!

Woohoo I have some awesome magic to share…
Dh and I are celebrating our 5th Wedding Anniversary ( together for 11yrs) and we decided to get a room at a hotel featuring a 5 star restaurant that we’ve always wanted to try but couldn’t spare the $.
When I called the hotel to make dining reservations they said that the restaurant is closed for Renovations, WHAT!!! So I accepted the fact that wasn’t going to happen… well, at that specific restaurant at least… and so changing the focus I decided to call the hotel’s Dining Manager. ***Quick tip*If you want great service always always start off your concerns with lots of love and with”Yes ______ (Use person’s name), I have a problem and I’m hoping you can help me?”
So I told the manager our whole story with the getting a room based on the Restaurant’s reputation and how we’ve always wanted to eat there and finally wanted to do this for our Anniversary. Long version short. The lovely lady got us a private table at one of their other newly renovated restaurants, “the” 5 course set menu from the original restaurant we wanted to try, plus she’s going try to get a complimentary signature desert that I’ve heard from friends who’ve been there that the desert alone is worth the price a their whole meal.
BLISS!!!!!
