The Sparkle Fairy!
“Tireless Joy” Magic!
A very special Spirit Baby has given me a new totem: the Hummingbird. According to Ted Andrews and his magical book “Animal Speak”, hummingbirds symbolize “Tireless Joy” ~ making this the ABSOLUTE PERFECT totem for me at this time in my life! There is NOTHING I’ve been wanting MORE than TIRELESS JOY! Today I woke up a bit run-down after a restless night of sleep. As I went into the bathroom to try to wake myself up, a little voice in my head said “Just because your body is tired, doesn’t mean your JOY has to be.” So as I was doing my morning yoga ritual I affirmed to myself the following mantra:
“Today I embody TIRELESS JOY! I replenish myself as the residue lifts and I claim my Divine Health and Authentic Life.”
I felt so empowered! And just choosing TIRELESS JOY has made my body less tired as well!!! In fact, I’m buzzing like a hummingbird! 
My Everyday Magic:
* Going to my first Holistic Mom’s Meeting last night and being among WONDERFUL energy ~ I know I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be!
* My drive home after the meeting, with the windows wide open, music on the radio and the BIG orange moon following me the whole way ~ truly MAGICAL!
* Another wonderful playgroup at Cedar Lake!
* Wonderful talks with my dear friends, El and Kimberly!
* Chocolate-Chip-Zucchini Cookies!
* My permaculture expert is coming tomorrow ~ and I found out she’s dressing as a FAIRY this weekend! I haven’t even met her yet and I LOVE HER! 
* My awesome little boys! I’m so blessed!
* My wonderfully, supportive beloved husband!
* My 5 year old continuing to surprise me with spontaneous napping (usually after a beach day! )
* Planning on BBQ chicken, local corn and organic broccoli for dinner!
* Tireless JOY!!!!

This is so amazing, darling Sparkle Fairy—I was going to write about humming birds too! This morning, looking out the kitchen window, a hummingbird caught my eye as it hummed around the little meyer lemon tree. This reminded me that I’d forgotten to turn off the hose. I went down to do this, but paused to watch the hummer as it drew close to the hose. I knew it wanted to play/drink in the water, so I waited, still as a statue. I was only three feet from it, but it darted through the water several times. Mesmerizing. In the presence of magic!

feeling vulnerable. That is not the magic. I am realizing the opposite is the magic and I am capable of the opposite should I choose it. So, here goes…. I choose strength!!!!!

not feeling so hot and then realizing i have so much magic!!!!!!!!! i could go on and on.

I can’t wait! Actually, I’m only partially sparkling her b/c we live here too, but she was talking about doing it this weekend. So HA I’m going to clean first! I’m about halfway done with the vacuuming. I’d really like to mop and dust, too, but I’m not sure if I’ll have time. I was able to declutter and dust the living room a bit also. yay! I’ll let you know if everyone notices.
