My dearest Winged Sisters,
My Everyday Magic!
*MEM 1 year and 1 day old today. WooHoo!!!
*Another afternoon with just the baby and I
*Slowing down, nurturing my family, treating our afflictions with some good old-fashioned TLC
*Snuggling with an infant. I am addicted to her smiles and cuddly baby scent.
*Nursing baby in bed with a rain storm outside the bedroom window, blanketing us in an ambience of intimate serenity
*That grayish glow peering through my blinds draping my home in stormy magic
*The domestic meditative Zen of folding clothes and clearing clutter
*Daydreaming in the tranquility of an almost empty house
*That proud feeling I get every time I’ve opened up my fridge and pantry today; seeing them full and stocked. Weather or not I get to making dinner every night I am satisfied in the fact that I am no longer limited to what little was available in the cooler and cupboards. Culinary creativity abounds!
*Walking out to the Garden to pick some fresh herbs
*The healing flavors and soothing auroras of my mama’s Mint Chicken & Bean thread Soup
*Feeling infinitely blissed in all my blessings
*Grateful for this day and the simply joys I am finding in it
*Reflecting on my home and the gorgeousness that is Guam
*Working with the retrograde… taking this time to release, relax, and receive

My Everyday Magic
* Reading all the magic from yesterday in one fell swoop and enjoying responding to each and every one! Thank you all for the Anniversary-Well-Wishes!!!!
* A date with my beloved yesterday (which, quite frankly, started in a rare fight, but ended MUCH BETTER!)
* The fact that my beloved and I can’t stand being mad at each other!
* The SUN is bright and shining after an evening of rain, rain, rain.
* A FUN visit to Riggio’s Garden Center yesterday where Cindy-The-Orchid Lady rubbed my arm while “ooohing” in response to last week’s “True Confessions” ( I laughed soooo hard!). And there was more fun conversation with Dave about naming a bar or a drink “Rub the Fairy” which has given me some fun ideas!
* Picking flowers yesterday to hand out tomorrow ~ and in the meantime their beauty is gracing my countertops, which is blissing me out to no end!
* Remembering that I can “choose how I feel” and I can keep choosing over and over and over if I have to!!! (Thanks for the reminder, El!)
* The Butterfly Faery is coming today!
* Vowing to stop rushing, forcing, or hurrying and just let the FLOW carry me and provide for me!!!!

Happy Anniversary! Didn’t get to say that yesterday!!
*I am just grateful that today isn’t yesterday!!! I had probably the worst day in many, many months beginning with a flat tire on the way to work. By the end of the day so many things had gone “wrong” that I was afraid to leave the house. Today I am exhausted from yesterday’s tension but so grateful that today seems to be going well so far (knock on wood).
*Coco’s birthday and planning on taking her for an ice cream pup cup on saturday
*Getting myself a delicous sandwich from Coffee’s for lunch today
*Being so proud of myself that even in the middle of yesterday, I still stayed calm and centered in my current intentions
*Waiting to hear from M if I am getting my day at the Norwich Spa in a couple of weeks! I hope so, I really need a whole day to be pampered!!
*Enjoying a quiet morning before going to work later

*just caught the cat before he peed in the living room and put him in the litter box which he then used like a good cat.
*M got dinner ready for her and her dadoo for later.
*the concern M is showing for a friend about to go through a big change.
*deciding to trust that things will work out (this one is really hard)

~ Fresh salmon was delicious last night!

~ My son’s last few days in childhood before entering officially into teenage!
~ My husband calling this morning just to say hi! (he leave for work way before I wake up)
~ Peanut butter, cocoa and honey mixed together on my toasts this morning. Yum!
~ The beef and barley soup I’m about to make. I’ll add a fresh bread and some cheese and we’ll have a simple yummy dinner tonight! (I might get one of those chicken pie the lady bakes in town for my almost-teen who’s always hungry – soup, bread and cheese won’t be enough for him, especially after boxing training, lol!)

The kids built a fort last night and it is up today and it is really cool. Gatlin wants to have a friend who loves forts over really bad (Guesss who, Kate!!)

( we started in on The X-Files last night with chocolate shakes after their little brothers were in bed)

Feeling extra strong and healthy, today, physically!
Listening to a favorite book-on-tape with my boys this afternoon!
The TV AND video games are off again today, and my boys are spending time together, using their imaginations!
My sweet, sweet beloved comes home from his trip tomorrow afternoon! We’ll be able to spend the weekend together–the boys are going to have one last visit with their uncle for some “boy-time” before school starts!!

*morning time bath alone with a new library book – buddhism for mothers (i dig it so far)
*still decluttering, sweeping, beautifying, a little more each day
*starting some home ferments!

My DD loves helping me in the Kitchen as well and she’s more inclined to eating foods that she herself has also prepared. Her favorite duty is to peel the skins off the garlic I smash.

*Last class of Yoga with my fave teacher @ the Y, made her a necklace to express my gratitude that she liked…..I just KNOW that GUS will provide $$ for me to take her classes at her budding studio.
