My Everyday Magic

Sunshine Faerie

Sunshine Faerie

Welcome to Fabulous Faerie Friday!!!

What could be more fabulous than Fabulous Faeries Frolicking today?  The Sparkle Fairy, Flower Faery and Butterfly Faery are going to be out in full fabulous faerie force today in Essex…so look for them and their magic!!!

Today, according to my calendar, is Global Forgiveness Day.  If you are like me, the person I am always most in need of forgiving is myself.

My Magic today is going to include forgiving myself and loving myself so I will be able to spread love magic to others too.

:)   The incredible fireworks we’ve seen this week

:)   Understanding that I am human…but all that human-ness is beautiful and wonderful exactly the way it is

:)   My amazing, incredible and loving boys

:)   Hearing my oldest encourage his brother

:)   My sister

:)   My mother

:)   Magic

:)   Love

This is my Magic…what’s yours?  Please post in the comments below.  Enjoy a little forgivenss, a little love and a little magic today.

  3. Jenny Says:

Ooohhh..I’m all about forgiveness..in fact, my very first post today was going to be……

****Loving myself and embracing my faults, instead of trying to always be perfect…I think I’m finally getting it (after almost 40 years)!!!!****

Feeling very energized, and physically and mentally strong again today!!!

    Setting realistic personal goals!!!

Remembering that everything that has happened to me so far in my life (good AND bad) has shaped the person I am today, and really being grateful for that!

Embracing those “bad” experiences, and knowing that they have made me a stronger person!

  4. I woke up in the middle of the night and couldn’t go back to sleep. I was beating myself up over and over about something that has bothered me for a long time now.

I realized it was Global Forgiveness Day…and I decided it was time to forgive myself and let myself off the hook. I made decisions, in the past that I thought were best for me and my family at that time. Perhaps looking back, they weren’t the best decision…but that’s based on now. And when I go back to that self, years ago, I KNOW that I was doing the best I could for myself and for my family.

I forgive myself. I honour myself. I will be kind to myself.

Wow, I can sure relate to that scenario, dear Sunshine Faerie. Some things from the past can just keep returning! Lately I’ve been trying this: declaring whatever it was, whatever happened GOOD—knowing that no matter what, there’s a gift for you from that situation, and that for whatever reason, you and others were doing the best you could do at the time!

    • Kate Street Says:

This brought tears to my eyes…SO MUCH love to you!!!!!

  6. Nichole Says:

Today has been fantastic so far!
We made some puppets with popcycle sticks. Then we made some more out of socks!

We used a shoebox for the background.

Then we popped some popcorn and watched eachothers puppet shows for an hour!

Found some lincoln logs that haven’t been played with lately. Yay! They are going to provide lots of entertainment today!

  7. Lisa Monet Says:

How I love tuning in to your radiant smile each Friday, Sunshine Faerie. Thank you for the warm glow of your beautiful light!!!

Looking forward to reports from our Fabulous Fairies Friday!!!

Thank you for the forgiveness reminder today. I try to include some forgiveness work each day in my prayer times, and yes, I too start with myself. “I forgive you, Lisa, for any and all mistakes you may have made.”

    * Walking down Main Street passing out Free Hugs and Free Flowers with Sabrina-Fairy, and Rosa-Fairy with the Rainfall Fairy taking pics!!!

    * Giving the people who said “No thanks” to hugs GREAT BIG HUGS anyway and having them giggle with delight in spite of themselves!!!

    * FREE HUGS was definitely my FAVORITE part of the day ~ as well as watching our little girl fairies approach strangers with free flowers. They were soooo magical!!!

    * Dawn-Fairy who made balloon animals for all the children!!!

    * All the magical Fairies, Mamas, Children and strangers who made A Very Fairy Friday a WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL experience!!!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!!

    * Having the Butterfly Faery with me another night!!!! My Fairy-Soul-Sister!! :)

    * Feeling Very Fairy this Friday Evening and topping it off a beer!!!

    • Amanda Says:

How Fairytastical!!! I knew you would enjoy the Fee Hugs. It’s amazing how when people said no thanks to a hug they always did it with big smiles! That told me that they really wanted one but just couldn’t get past themselves and ended being that those people were usually the happiest to get them.

  9. Tara Says:

*accomplishing a lot this morning really made me feel good

*having another long phone conversation with a friend…I’m not a phone gal so these are few and far between and both this week were really nice!

*listening to my 5 year old go on and on and on in excitement about kindergarten as we walked home today

*feeling prepared for a friend-filled weekend

  10. Zanna Says:

    Sunshine!

Pippin, my 6 year old reminding me to go feed our friends’ cats: I nearly forgot!

watching Pippin and neighborhood kids play kickball… until an adult playing kicked the ball into a tree, and spent a long time getting it down. But that was also entertaining to watch

    friendly kitties

playing Wildcraft with my boy and a neighbor girl

    chocolate chip cookies!

  11. Dawn Says:
