Sacred Saturdays!
Welcome to Sacred Saturday! I hope you all had a beautiful week and are getting ready to unwind, as I am, on this lovely day. This week was full of unexpected twists and turns for me which make it all the more important to pay attention to the small things. It also means that the business of centering and focusing myself is essential, so I’m grateful for this sacred day!
My hope is that we can all list something (or several somethings!) that we can do to make a sacred space today. For today I will:
~sit in stillness for 10 minutes with a quiet mind
~bless everyone I come into contact with.
~check in at regular intervals to make sure I am aligned and be at peace with my authentic self.
My Everyday Magic:
~having to miss a FABULOUS day yesterday in order to be present a birth ( a most sacred event!)
~knowing that even in my absence my sisters did a fabulous job!
~looking forward to another gathering-one that I will be able to attend!
~a great seminar today.
~getting a phone call late last night to find out that my ds is going to be on his best friend’s soccer team!
~the advent of the school year.
~everything coming together exactly as it should!
I hope that you are able to create a sacred space for yourself today as well as revel in all the magic things that surround us on a regular basis. Please share with us the ways in which you make your day sacred as well as the magical moments that always follow! Have a blessed day!

Thank-you for sharing, it is just what I needed today.
*work on clearing my energy from Mother Earth and the God Souce
*paying attention to all of the wonder and beauty in my life
*spending time with my soul mate
*meeting with my sponsee and working on Step 1
*being the best that I can be today even though I’m feeling anxious
*being honest about how I am feeling and not beating myself up or anyone else!
I’m excited that this is sacred saturday, as today is my birthday!
I too, need to make centering a daily practice, something I’ve had some resistance with in the past, ( from having trouble believing it really Is a part of me)
So today I claim my sacred space within as a child of love, light and spirit!
I celebrate my beautiful and loving family!
Today I am doing my grounding sacred tree meditation.
I love the idea of blessing everyone I come in contact with today!
I will periodically give thanks for 5 things at that moment.
Thank you Kate, for the magic! <3
Happy Birthday Sweet Sam, may it be as wonderful as you

I worked today, as I was just starting, the old saying, “by the grace of God go I” popped into my head. It felt good, so I went with it and said it to myself repeatedly at work. It was a great, and successful, day!
We had a great time seeing Nanny McPhee last night. I don’t think that the whole family has ever gone to see a movie together. It was a fun splurge.
Fun times on the big rocks!
Lots of new information and new projects that got underway this week.
When I read that phrase I heard it in a song in my head….Simon and Garfunkel. The name escapes me now. Kathy’s Song maybe? What a wonderful mantra for the day!

~~~My (not so) Everyday Magic~~~
Spent the whole day at CT Pagan Pride Day today doing workshops, checking out vendors, participating in ritual, and just feeling a part of the pagan community. It was great. M went to a couple of the workshops, got some pretty jewelry, and played a major role in the group ritual. I got a bunch of ideas for the children’s circle.
The very nice woman (who didn’t own a dog) who gave Morrigan her doggie oriented raffle prize after winning something else.
~~My Everyday Magic~~~
When we got home M’s cousins were still here so she got to play with them too.
Sweet potatoes with marshmallows on top. Why on earth should I wait for holidays to eat some of the “holiday” food?
So glad you had a great time yesterday!!!!!
A fun movie night out with girlfriends watching Eat Pray Love. It was the first time I had been out for myself since having DD2. Even with having to rush through dinner, getting to the movie late, and having to sit all the way in the front we all had lean way far back to see the screen properly I chose to enjoy myself NO MATTER WHAT.
Reading about a Very Fairy Friday and knowing that a baby was coming into the world during it and that the little one had the Flower Faerie there to welcome him or her.
Waking up ready to cleanse, heal, and enjoy this day!
Laughing all night, just hubby and I.
Turning DD1′s accidental paint mark on the wall into a letting go moment for mommy. Now I have some art work in the hall way
A post movie night revelation, eat pray love inspired me to make this statement last night among friends… “I’m just tried of B-Itching, I just wanna enjoy my life!”
Choosing to be!… and BE Happy doing it!
Sacred Saturday!
Dearest Flower Faerie ~ You were so missed by your dear friends Friday, but knowing you were among the magic of a newborn and mama makes it all worth it! I love you!
