These are some of the JOYFUL pics (taken by our very own Rainfall Fairy) of A Very-Fairy-Friday on August 27th! Aren’t they FUN?!

******************

My Everyday Magic

* Being able to share these pics with you!!!

* Feeling comfortable at a party last night where I knew no one (quite a feat, no?).

* Looking forward to another party tonight where I know and love everyone!

* Feeling a little weary this morning, but knowing I can choose how I feel ~ and knowing I can probably talk my beloved hubby into taking the children to the playground this morning so I don’t lose it!

* Getting a “Field Guide to Weeds” and being able to identify so much that is growing in my yard ~ and maybe even being able to find some good uses for them.

* Deep breathing (right now!) as I’m trying to finish this technically-challenging-photo-filled post and my children are yelling “I want soup!” minutes after they finished breakfast. (Does anyone else go through this?). In any case, deep breathing is SO MAGICAL when you really just want to say things you shouldn’t. ;)

* Feeling SO MUCH more authentic!

* Feeling SO MUCH more in the FLOW ~ even though I don’t particularly feel that way right now, I’ve been feeling it A LOT more that it’s almost a daily thing. And THAT is truly magical.

What’s making your MAGIC today? Post in comments below. I love you!

***My Everyday Magic*** :) M sneaking into our room to let her daddy know that it was his turn to get up with her and they should let me sleep. :) Being loaned a soil screen so now we have beautiful soft dirt in the new garden and rocks filling in some of the holes in the parking area :) Listening to Song Fairy’s beautiful music in the car. :) Spending all day with my hubby. :) Working until my arms actually gave out. I’m exhausted and a little sore, but I’m so excited to be making a great home for my wonderful new plants :) My nephew teaching M to use a diablo and explaining the physics to her. I love it when people do that, especially other kids. :) Snuggling with M on the couch before work :) A peaceful night at work (so far).

How utterly beautiful are these photos that you’ve shared, magical S.F.!! Thank you! What pure joy!!!

Children who want stuff at the most inconvenient times! :D Yes, I know that scenario well!!! Here’s what we finally found and most highly recommend: “Parenting with Love and Logic”. Run, do not walk, all of you living with young/adolescent children, to your local bookstore or online book source, and Check these Resources out. We’re still quoting from them….and using the tools on each other. :D

    <3 Sunday
<3 Sunny decks with snoozing kitty
<3 Quiet in the 'hood—-no power tools at the moment…
<3 The huge crow (raven?) that swooped down over me. "What gift do you have for me?!" —I ask every bird that catches my attention like that!
(usually the answer I get is something like: "keep doing what you're doing—it's all working out!" Other x's it's "Heh, heh, wish you could fly, don't you!)
<3 Me. I just love her! (thanks, B.F.! Gunna keep that up 'til it really sticks…)
