Recently, I saw a FB page that is in essence the EXACT OPPOSITE of My Everyday Magic ~ it encourages people to find the crappy parts of the day. And it had over 13,000 LIKES! Now I admit part of it is funny, but the focus (in my sparkly opinion) is still all wrong! Can you imagine going about your day looking for things that piss you off so you can then share them with people?! To each his own, but I’m thinking that it’s time to let more people know about how life-changing looking for the MAGIC in each day is ~ don’tcha think? * My LOVELY champagne-ceremony with El yesterday morning ~ with all of us in our pj’s. I think we did some good work there, Sista!
* I JUST got back from a winter run in the woods and I love how rosy-cheeked it makes me feel.
* I woke up with a headache but I think the run helped!
* Egg sandwiches for dinner last night and M&M’s for dessert.
* Taking my boys to the toystore yesterday to continue our birthday celebration for our 4 year old.
* Family hot-tub!
* Feeling sleepy and looking forward to NAPTIME!

Woohooo I made ths list (I’m a little shocked). I love MEM and love focusing on the magic in my life. I tend to come at the end of the day so I can use it as a place to reflect on all that went right in my day. I just shared this page on FB and will be back tonight to let you know my magic.

~ being eligible for FAFSA (federal financial aid) – I’m hoping that it’ll transition the decision from $-importance to where I actually want to go.

~ Basil, plum tomato & avocado salad with a little salsa and melted chesse for my dinner, yum
~Coming home from work to a clean and tidy house, heaven

I love MEM! Really! I notice things all through my day and mentally post them here, so even on the days I don’t actually get here, it makes me happy. This really is a great vibe-raising place and you are all wonderful folk!

Long, early morning dog walk. Listening to the birds, and seeing a hawk sitting high in a lone tree in the meadow. I said “Good morning” with a little bow, and she flew away.
My boy having fun at his best friend’s birthday party… and all I had to do was drop him off at the bowling alley!
A leisurely day, listening to good music and enjoying the sunshine.

-my wonderful husband made me the yummiest dinner with a beautiful roast and turnips — yum!
-now he’s saying he’ll clean the kitchen, too — woot!
-all the yummy produce we got from the grocery store today
-I’m on day 6 of whole 30, and I’m still going strong!
-I decided to start blogging again, and am looking forward to getting started tomorrow

*Spent the morning with the kids at the museum doing crafts and checking out an exhibit about Carnaval before it leaves town. Really cool. After that, we checked out the rest of the museum, dinosaur bones, crystals, artifacts from other cultures. Really neat stuff.
*We walked and took the bus. It was a fun adventure for the kids and felt good to be in the fresh air.
*Almost done clearing out and deep cleaning the kids’ room. In an 850sf house with 2 kids sharing one room, it’s hard to figure out a creative way to make it all fit and be accessible (clothes, toys, books, beds) but we are almost there….just a couple more hours tomorrow and I should have it pretty much done! Whew! Culling stuff can be hard!

*The kids have been getting into reading Calvin and Hobbes. They think it’s so funny. And I love to see dd (7 yrs) reading together with ds (almost 4yrs).
*It’s 2012!!! I’m just so excited this year is here. I’m sure it’s going to bring a positive transformation for me!
Yesterday was a day of “visiting” – we visited several friends to catch up on old times and new events.
