Very quickly because I’m being summoned to play trains and cars, here’s my Weekend Magic.
* The hot-tub last night for the first time in a week ~ it was SO LOVELY being out under the full moon and stars. ♡
* I had 3 hours to myself yesterday and I just relaxed and watched a movie…and ate some cheetos. ♡
* More poem writing ~ I wrote 2 yesterday, one on a new blog. ♡
* Sleeping by myself last night. Even though I was awake much of the night it was nice being alone. ♡
* Making a train track for my baby this morning as we all watch “Cars.” Thanks to my 2 older boys absolute PASSION for “Cars” when they were younger, we have just about the whole cast of characters for our baby to play with, much to his delight. ♡
* This is the last weekend of 2012! ♡
* Interested to see what we create in 2013! ♡
* The promise of SNOW today! ♡
* More grandparents coming tomorrow. ♡
Share your weekend magic with me, ’cause I love ya! ♡♡♡

More Magic for me:
* It’s snowing outside right now and it’s so, so pretty.
* Hubby will be brewing beer shortly and that always makes him happy.
* A brief trip to town by myself this morning ~ even though I didn’t find what I’m looking for I enjoyed being out in our cute, quaint little town.
* Catching up on MEM. I just love everyone’s honesty. This is such a magical place and I love you all so much!
* Not feeling what I want to be feeling but in the words of Sunshine Faerie yesterday, I’m SURRENDERING! ♡
Dragged my self and my cold off of the couch after a long winters nap, because I knew I couldn’t let a day go by without stopping in a MEM!
MEM
-It is so beautiful outside with the snow coming down when I peek out of the windows covered
by our insulated shades!
-knowing we will figure all of this out all in due time (I have a wise fairy friend named Sparkle)!
-having the wood to burn in our jotul stove keeps our living room toasty
-knowing that when I’m feeling better I will be heading for the woods to bless the land and all who
inhabit it as well as myself!
-Thoughts in my head about having a circle around a campfire with some special friends
-looking forward to ice-skating on our pond (or at least watching my young ones ice-skate)
-Letting Go and Letting God/Goddess!
-Bless Us All!
You have a POND?!! I’m infinitely jealous! I’m so glad my words helped you Dear Sister ~ they helped me too. Feel better, Dear Sister! ♡
No need to be jealous dear Sparkle, you are always welcome. It is a shallow, natural pond, great for skating, not for swimming, too much mud. I can’t wait to put my old wooden rowboat (which we found in the basement of the old house before we knew we would be here) in the pond in the spring!
Hanging out with my beloved’s parents and having Christmas with everyone this afternoon.
Going for a walk because it finally warmed up!!!!!!
Having time to meditate this morning and finding that place of peace. Remembering what a friend wrote on her blog about this moon…that we can feel/acknowledge the energy of it without letting it take over. I’m gonna give that a try today.
Love you lots!
Love you lots too! ♡
I just wrote another poem and it sure helped me shift my mood! Sharing!
Paint me in glittering green,
and make my Third Eye pink,
We may as well enjoy the void,
Be a Dear, and hand me a drink.
We definitely have arrived,
Says the knowing smile on our lips,
But until we know what that really means,
let’s dance with bells adorning our hips.
Our choices are to moan and piss
since we don’t know where we are,
Or like lovers, we can hug and kiss
and have conversations with stars.
We may miss the comforts of the old
Even though they felt like shit,
Let’s instead try on our wings of gold
and see how well they fit.
So yes, we look around
and there’s still not much to see,
But let us just adjust our crowns
and play, and rest, and BE.
So Dear Master, pull up a chair
and drink with me a beer.
As we glisten in our glittering green
let’s share some New Age cheer.
eta: Handing Laurie a virgin-Margarita.
OMG, Sparkle your a hoot, I will be glad to join you!
I love the poem, talk about being a Master, your it.
Really good reminder about meditating, a missing piece to my life the last couple of weeks. I’ve only meditated a few times and it shows. Thank-you Sunshine, we are all in this together, whatever it may be.
Lovely magic!
My magic;
*another day of vacation! i love waking up without an alarm.
*made cookies today and brought them to our librarians. that was fun! ds handed the tin to one of our librarians and shouted “cookies! merry christmas!” a man of few words, sometimes.
*we received one of those soda streams for a gift and we made orange soda today. it’s really yummy!
*eggnog latte!
*extra moolah from cleaning, bought some groceries!
*dh’s uncle loaned us an electric keyboard. the kids are so excited!
*dd made dinner. it was just mac and cheese, but it was yummy!
*we’ve been having late nights since we’re all on vacation, (‘cept hubby since he’s a restaurant guy) so i’m feeling really thankful the kids are in their pjs already and just about ready for bed.
*parks and recreation is just so darn funny. i giggled for an hour last night.
*dh, instead of continuing to get his hours cut at the bar, found out that he is gaining 2 nights! woohoo! and his search for a new job has a promising lead!
*i have a really good feeling about my new job. i can feel it!
*cheesy grits.
Yay for hubby getting more nights and great leads! I have a good feeling about your new job too!! And I’ve been wondering about those soda streams ~ what do you think? Is it worth it? Will you use it a lot? Do you have to buy a lot of ingredients? That’s a lot of questions.
Thanks Kate!
Yeah, I think the soda stream is pretty cool actually. I have no idea how much it cost, so I don’t know if it’s “worth it”. They do make soda mixes you can add to the water to make the typical soda, but we’ve never been big soda drinkers, so I don’t think we’ll buy too much more of that. But, we do like our “sparkly” water with a little flavor, so yesterday we made carbonated water and added some lemon juice. It was really yummy. I could see adding some yummy tea to it. Dd has Fairy Celebration tea from Love and Tea, that would be good in sparkly water. I think you wouldn’t have too many ingredients to buy for that, just the canisters of gas. I have no idea how much those are. I should probably look!
Sunday Magic
* This morning I saw TWO rainbow clouds on either side of the rising sun ~ though honestly, they don’t look like clouds. My boys and I came to the conclusion that they are Rainbow Portals ~ that’s the only way I can describe them! They had me mesmerized for half an hour as they got brighter and changed colors ~ it was so beautifully amazing! Since I was a little girl I’ve had many dreams of seeing otherworldly things in the sky ~ and now I must say that we’re truly seeing otherworldly things in the sky! I was tickled to no end! Thank you Rainbow Portals for delivering a little bit of heaven this morning! ♡
* Playing outside in the dark last night with my baby and 7 year old as the snow fell. We sledded in our yard and had SUCH a great time!! I love playing in the snow in the dark! Plan on doing it again tonight!
* Paying some bills that we’d been procrastinating on for months. Nice to clear that slate in time for the New Year.
* Two parties to look forward to tomorrow ~ a birthday party in the morning and an adult only New Year’s Eve party at night!
* My outfit for the New Years Eve party ~ that sparkly iridescent dress that had been tempting me in a shop window and to go with it…shiny pink combat boots! lol! So cutting edge!
* Feeling pretty good today and I’ll take it!
Such am amazing amount of magic in the Fire Fairy household this weekend.
There is so much snow and we are all loving it up.
We all went out late last night and had a snowball fight, chatting with neighbors and just walking in the fat snowflakes.
This morning we went out and shoveled. The snow has changed it is fluffy and doesn’t stick well, so we are happy we went out last night.
Little girl loves the snow. I am thrilled that she seems to be partially past baby/young toddler unease around snow.
As soon as she wakes up we are going sledding. yip! yip!
My boys have just drew up enough courage to listen to the first Harry Potter book. We have all enjoyed listening to it and at this very second, Harry is saying goodbye to his friends as he leaves Hogwarts to go to go home with Uncle Vernon.
My hubby and I have been getting lots of little projects done. Our new industrial strength ice cream maker is now tucked into a cabinet. Our closet is cleaned out – beautiful.
So many lovely connections with facebook friends this weekend. I love it.
Yay! That IS a lovely list of Magic, Dear Fire Sister! Just beautiful!
