Teehee, a few embellishments on my New Year’s Eve photo! I sure FELT like I had wings on that evening!!

*The date!
*An AWESOME Extravagant New Year’s Eve Party! I loved every element of it, my outfit, the awesome music put on by a 10-piece local female all star band called The Dollhouse, the live art exhibit that I hosted via my business Creative Indeed, the artwork that we created there, the artwork I sold, the connections I made with guests, the yummy appetizers and drinks.
*Hanging out with my boys, reading and planning a science experiment, watching the “Life” series narrated by Oprah, bike-riding, gingerbread house building (yeah we’re a little late), lego-building, snuggling, musical car rides, very curious and hilarious conversations, as well as some deeper discussions…
*This morning in the village, on my way in to town to pick up my boys, there was a couple who’s car had run out of gas right at a stop sign on a fairly steep hill. I pulled over across the street at the ocean view lookout over the bay, they didn’t have a phone or anyone they could call, nor any cash. Ended up taking them to a nearby gas station and getting a container of gas. And it turns out I went to school with them, and are both out of a job, and the girl used to be an administrative assistant, with experience in advertising. I gave her my card, as I may be hiring soon, or needing help in the very least. It was a very interesting connection indeed!
*The fun and awesome full-house Creative Session last week!! I LOVE it full like that, and want more full sessions!
*Reading the previous days’ magic, I just love laying in my bed (or in a chair on the patio outside, with the breeze blowing & sun shining), reading MEM on my Nexus tablet, with a favorite beverage, some magical music & an open heart.
*I too am enjoying writing in my Create Your Incredible Year 2013 workbook by Leonie Dawson. I’ve been really getting out of my comfort zone, dreaming, planning, expanding…
*Business opportunities! Planning for a studio space!!!!!
*Art supplies. ‘Nuff said.
*A cabernet wine called Gnarly Head. AWESOME stuff.

It’s the first day back to our ‘normal’. My husband is back to work and after months of on and off traveling for my boys, we are getting a bit more serious with our focus time (academic time). I’m looking forward to finding our rhythm again.
We are loving, loving, loving the snow here. We missed it so much. We might go sledding this morning, but my plate feels full, so we might skip it.
I have an appointment with our family doctor to talk about my middle son, Max. It’s a planning meeting, just to tease out what steps to next take with him with regards to heavy metals, gut health, behavior – all that fun stuff. I am manifesting calm, communication, clarity and equal power. I’m trying to get our doc to give us a referral to some cool therapy, that way our insurance will pay for it.
Tea – it’s my highlight
yoga. I’m feeling so much stronger everyday I do sun salutations. I told myself that in January, I will widen my horizons and start doing more yoga. I’m not sure yet how I will go about it. I’m really liking doing it on my own without a video, so maybe I will pick up a book. not sure.

* The grandparents left this morning after a lovely visit.
* My family being tired from many days of festivities and I love that we have the freedom of doing NOTHING. I can’t imagine anyone in my family having to go to work or school today. I’m so glad we have created the kind of life we need.
* Baby woke up at 6:20am and my dearest hubby took him downstairs so I could sleep another hour. This is the BEST kind of magic. ♡
* Just BEING. It’s so easy when we let it.
* Feeling acceptance and surrender.
* I’m just so happy that is it 2013 and we have an entirely BLANK SLATE!
YES to freedom, to creating the kind of life we need, to beingness, to nothingness. I’ve been reading a lot of Rumi lately, and oh how sacred the blank slate is, the emptiness we create when we move on from something. Such fertile ground for continuing to CREATE the lives we choose to live!

*Can’t sleep, so I woke up (its 2am), drank water, ate a piece of chocolate, and sat to stare at the moon for awhile, then felt pulled to come back here and read/share. Glad I did!

I was away and busy with family and friends for the holidays and I was only able to stop in for a moment yesterday — but I’m so delighted to be back!!!! And — I’m so happy to welcome 2013!!! I find it so funny that for so many years, I was anticipating, waiting and feeling so excited about 2012 and honestly, I couldn’t have been happier to see it go!!! Life is always full of surprises!!!
Well — my energy has shifted…(there’s nothing like 6 hours in a car to contemplate one’s thoughts and help shift one’s energy)…and I’m feelin’ fabulous!!!

-I manifested a new couch!!! It’s gorgeous and exactly what I wanted!! And it was FREE and it all came together so perfectly! Friend let us borrow his truck, we had time to move, etc.
-my sweetie and I moved furniture and drove for 7 hours yesterday, exhausted, and he was in good spirits 95% of the time! It made the whole experience almost fun!!
-we were exhausted because of our super fun NYE party!!!
-I have a meeting with a new client today!!
Your sweetie being in good spirits throughout a long ordeal really makes me smile!! And a new couch and new client is always FANTASTIC too!! Purposeful exhaustion, I love it so.
How fun to give away a painting! The Little Drummer Boy song inspired me a few days ago- a friend was posting about a fundraiser for healthcare her friend’s daughter, and although I don’t have much cash, I DO have paper and paint and enough money for postage. I can give what gift I have to help the little girl feel, better, and oh my goodness that feels good!
Other magic-
~Enough snow for sledding the other day. And now melting snow.
~I just watched one of our ducks dig up a dog treat that had been buried in the snow. And then she ate it, lol.
~My 7 year old’s stuffed felt creations
~My 9 year old realizing he can watch Pokemon videos on my smart phone- he’s thrilled.
~The love my 4 year old has for her little ponies she got for Christmas.
~The “Awesome Things” jar I have partially finished so we can write down awesome things that happened during the year and keep them in the jar. Normally I would just see the photos passed around on facebook, think about how it is a good idea, and do nothing. Not this year!

Today was an odd magic day. I awoke in the middle of the night with a toothache and ear ache – not even on the same side – so my whole head hurt! My first impulse was to say “ugh, what a great way to begin the new year” and then I changed it and said out loud, but softly, this is going to be a great year, I’m getting rid of all the yucky stuff now and making way for great health & prosperity!
Love my dentist – she fixed me up better than new!
Saw my ENT – ear problem gone!
I am open for exciting changes and embracing it all this year. This is my year of “YES” to the Universe!

* A swim alone in the blue crystal ocean new years morning. My heart was full of so much gratitude just to be in that moment. I wanted to release something into the universe but the only words that came to me were ‘I love you’. Somehow that was enough. And perfect.
I feel part of a greater whole and feel so blessed.
* Ever since I first visited this site I’ve been seeing fairy wings everywhere; at a local market stall, some photography I came across, a pair of shells in the ocean..
* The knowing that as I prepare to return home from my wonderful ocean holiday, back to real life (and work!) that this joy and peace will always be available to me as long as I opened myself to it. The universe is holding me in its gentle palm and will help me find my way.
