Hey everyone, today’s magic is going to be short and sweet because I unfortunately have the flu. I’m trying to see the bright side but I’m just exhausted, so simplicity is best at the moment.
My Magic;
~ sleeping, a lot.
~ being at home
~ homemade soup, even though I can barely taste it
~ mama taking care of me when I need it <3
~ skipping classes
I hope your Monday is better than mine! Everyone stay healthy and have a good day!

Mellow Monday Indeed Spicy Fairy! Sorry you aren’t feeling well, I went through that whole bug recently, so HUGS. It will pass if you are diligent about treating yourself well and taking care of your body. Enjoy that soup, mama love & time off. A perfect remedy!
MEM
*A quiet day, doing website and computer work
*Finally began a Creative Resource Directory on my site
*Getting ready for Jupiter to go direct in a few days. This is exciting news for me. I’ve already been on cloud 9. How good can it get?
*Eating a LOT of food today. This is good for me. Having only myself to care for the past two days, I’ve been eating a lot, drinking a lot of water, resting a lot, moving around. Feeling energized with balance.
*Thinking of the book recommendation I received “The Night Circus.” Any of you read it? I’m thinking of getting it on Amazon. I know nothing really about it, just that it jumps around but is really good.
*Music on Pandora One, all day, no commercials or long pauses. Again, it’s worth it, lol. Unless you have awesome radio stations to choose from. We have some here on Guam, but to customize a station with a variety of songs that you “probably” like based on select song/artist choices. “Thumbs down” any tracks that you just don’t like and never want to hear. “Thumbs up” the ones you really like and want to hear more similar song styles, genres, tempo, etc.
*Sudoku.
*Newly picked red ginger flowers in a dark blue vase. Gorgeous & fresh.
*Perfect weather this whole week. I’m in heaven.
*Enjoying chocolate lately!
*Enjoying the space life has given me yesterday and today. Feeling quite relaxed. Taking a deep breath.
*Been doing more T-Tapp and I already feel myself becoming stronger, feeling more energized, it is nourishing my soul (and my lymphatic system).
Beautiful magic! One day I’ll enjoy some of those beautiful flowers and perfect weather with you!
lol! Keep selling me on Pandora One! I listen to Pandora every day in my car and I either turn down the commercials or my boys and I make fun of them, lol! And I sooooo wanted to do TTapp today! I will find a way to get around the no remote problem! LOVE YOU!
In your car? How, you use your phone as a hotspot? OMG you are going to feel so free when you don’t HAVE to make fun of the commercials (which is exactly what we did at Creative Sessions in order to tolerate and have fun with them) anymore.
T-Tapp! You don’t even need the dvd. Just do some hoe-downs. There are YouTube videos with several different moves.
Sunshine, YES you will SO enjoy your time here on Guam! Can’t wait!
I appreciate the hugs! I love Pandora, chocolate, and food! Enjoy it all! <3
My friend gave me “The Night Circus” uh, maybe a year ago now, lol! She was absolutely sure I’d love it, and she knows me so I’m sure I will. I’m just s_l_o_w_l_y making my way through “Awetizm: A Hidden Key to our Spiritual Magnificence” and “Behaving As if The God in All Life Mattered” and don’t want to add anything else right now, lol!
LOVE Machealle Small Wright, Kathryn ~ her books were a big step in my awakening! ♥
Feel Better there Spicy! So glad that you can be home for your Mom to take care of!
Get the rest you need, give your self a break. It has been quite a winter already with

“What if’s” have a been a favorite of mine lately too! I love how connected we are!
What if’ing over here too!
And oh, YES to that last one, just YES! Do you know I was actually excited that I “got” to refill the sugar bowl today! How wonderfully silly blissful is THAT?!
Thank you! What ifs can sometimes bring me down, but I’m glad they can inspire you! But I’m with you with feeling the potential <3
Feel better spicy! Sending healing hugs your way.
MEM:
Sharing breakfast with my two year old foodie, relishing how much she savors most flavors.
A warm apartment.
Cheerful orchids to help brighten the grey of winter.
Groceries done last night by daddyo. No more moments of old mother Hubbard like the last several days.
Older daughter’s ear pain seeming to mellow. She even sang a little song after the steaming shower to help open it up.
A feeling that things I dream of are indeed possible.
Xo
My son has been a foodie since birth! He loves to savour and take it all in bite by bite!
Children foodies??!! That IS magical! LOVE that last one, Dear Sister! If we can dream it, we can do it, RIGHT? ♥
i think the children foodies can actually teach us so much. savoring, really tasting, being utterly present and appreciative…. and always ready to try new things.
…. and yes, dreams DO happen. thanks for helping spread that belief magic ladies! you both (all!) are awesome. and sunshine, i LOVED your superhero picture yesterday! xooooooooooooo
Dreams absolutely do happen!!
Thank you! Orchids are one of my favorite flowers, and I’m glad your daughter embraces the Spice in life!
Lots of Healing vibes for you Spicy Fairy!
My Magic:
~ a wonderful simple celebration for my birthday: husband made supper, we had GF chocolate cake and Sparkling wine! Mellow evening by the fire with my kids and my love. And I got a book! (though I’ll need to get glasses in order to enjoy reading it… My eyes aged more than I did! lol!)
~ new haircut. I’m in LOVE with it! Went from having my hair lower than my bra band to a middle of the neck layered square cut that is a real Wash & Wear cut! It even looks good right out of the bed, lol!
~ my daughter (7yo) hope to get into the competition team at her dance class… It’s a joy to see her passion blooming!
~ we braved the cold and had an evening by the firepit in the yard. The kids and hubby played outside for a while after I came back in the tend to the fireplace and unfreeze the dog paws.
~ Ice skating with friends yesterday morning! They are our best friends and we had not seen them since Christmas eve because of various illnesses in both families… It was great to see them!
~ Improvised BBQ with our friends for lunch. Chips and hotdogs (nachos for the GlutenFree girls -> my daughter and me)
~ Easy morning today!
~ More magic to unfold… Have a great day!
I’m so happy you’re healthy — and a new haircut — sounds absolutely fabulous!!!
That haircut does sound awesome! So glad you found something you love by taking a risk (well, to me it’s risky cutting long hair, lol!) And I’m so glad you’re healthy and able to enjoy your friends, Dear Sister. I love you! ♥
Thank you! Oh gluten free chocolate cake is the best, if I had tastebuds I would crave it now!
I share your daughters passion for dance and competition, definitely engage her in that, it’ll help her later on in life! Love your magic!
Happy Birthday! And yay for new haircuts- I did that about this time last year. It was so freeing, felt like I cut off so much energetic baggage that I didn’t need anymore, and that I was ready to step out and let my energy be crazy and playful again instead of trying to tie it down and keep it “tame”. Here’s to new freer energy!
~ Watching my youngest get so much value from the batting camp he’s in
~ Visiting with my oldest as we sit on the sidelines of more baseball activities
~ Being able to enjoy a little chill time today
~ Being present
~ Deciding to treat my boys this morning just for fun
~ Loving — with all my being!
I love treating my boys just for FUN! I did that today for my 5 year old ~ and it made us both happy! LOVE that you’re in the baseball groove again (already?!). ♥
Your magic is productive yet peaceful; love the balance, Libra sis!
Oh Spicy Sister! I’m so sorry you’re sick ~ and can’t believe you did the post today with the flu! THAT is impressive (but I’m always happy to fill in, if needed.) I’m glad your Mama is taking care of you. Rest up. We love you! Oh, and Roan was talking about you today ~ telling me how fun you were and wondering when you’re going to work at the Hamburger shack again so we can come visit you.
♥
My Magic
* Spicy Sister rallying for magic even though she has the flu! Amazing!
* Sunshine Sister feeling compelled to respond to everyone….as was I! Such great magic today!
* It’s a snowy day and it’s so cozy!
* My Finn got to spend some time alone at a friends house today ~ he really needed it!
* The energy of my whole house feels different since the energy of the basement is now different ~ it feels less stagnant and totally open for WHATEVER!
* Mostly finished cleaning the basement! I just have some detail work to do (removing dried-on cat food) and have to find someone to take a bunch of stuff to the dump. And I’m LOOKING FORWARD to doing it all!
* Realizing I’m not minding doing the everyday things ~ and in fact, I’m enjoying it! Woweee!!!!
* Hubby wants to build his own bar for his kegged beer and things are just falling into place for him to do just this!
* Seeing the NEW unfold as we take DIFFERENT steps than before! Realizing we can’t get to the NEW by taking the same OLD paths!
* just YAHOOO!!!!!!!
Aww it relieves me to here that Roan remembers me; I’ve been afraid some bigger, better, newer babysitter would trump what I once was.. glad he thought of me! <3 Your energy is definitely reviving me from this flu, thank you!
Spicy, I am glad you are resting and letting your mama take care of you! You’ll get better faster and more thoroughly than those folks who still try to rush around and do things when they feel sick. You take it easy and appreciate your wonderful body for letting you know what it needs. Sending lots of good vibes your way!
~Snow! I love love love snow!
~ Frolicking puppy dogs!
~ My black kitty who loves to get between my face and the computer screen and sit there, purring when I pet her <3
~ Chocolate ice cream! Because that's what we New Englanders do when it's cold and snowing: we eat ice cream!
~ Being home and done with all our driving to lessons and errands.
~ Listening to Harry Potter on CD: so glad my son has good taste in the stories he listens to over and over!
~ Getting an email saying that my favorite online music streams, WMVY will continue as an online only station after their airwave station was bought out. They had to raise $60,000 in 60 days and they did it! (we contributed a little bit) This totally made my day. I am so, so SO happy. Rock on!
Thank you for the vibes! <3 I'm with you on the ice cream; it's crazy that us NE'landers rationalize freezing treats when it's so cold, but they're just so good! Enjoy your Harry Potter & online radio!
Hope you feel better soon Spicy Fairy!
*Really excited to make that Girl Scout Cookie preorder with dd. She got a lot of orders, that little go-getter!
*Watercolors
*Monday at the office is just about over!
*Bengal Spice tea
*Had popcorn and read stories with the kids last night before we got in bed. That was a nice lead-in to bedtime story time.
*Popcorn with parmesan and brewer’s yeast and butter. That’s the way to go right there.
*Reading Simplicity Parenting. As if I didn’t already feel the need to declutter, the first part I’m reading is pretty much about how we need to simplify for our kids by going into their room, bagging up half their stuff, and then bagging up half their stuff again. Damn. That will feel good!
*I’ve been managing to remember to meditate at noon for five minutes. Most days. During the weekend, the kids recognize the alarm that I made for that, and will meditate for a minute with me. It feels really good.
*Just feeling so thankful for the school communities we are a part of, the friends I have made there, the community we are able to give our kids through these schools, the supportive environment we all experience there.
*Feeling really thankful for my little family. All 3 of those peeps are so lovely in such different ways. I’m so glad they are all in my life.
*Feeling really lucky we have our house. We want something better, but it’s really served us well for a lot of years, kept us warm, safe, in an awesome location, given us stability and joy.
*Feeling so lucky that my job is essentially paying me to get a new job. So awesome. Still feeling the glow on that one. So excited to see the unfolding happening before my eyes.
So glad you have your mama to nurture you, Spicy! Soak up that wonderful loving energy. <3 <3 <3

~I am ready to write again, lol! The last many days I have been mostly internal (except when I followed exactly where guided) and quiet. But now I'm ready to use my voice again!
~Following where I am led and the MAGIC that is coming from that. And allowing it to flow instead of questioning and needing to "know", just going with it because it feels good. And when it got bumpy and struggley, asking "How can this be easier?" and getting an ANSWER! Woo hoo!
~New connections over the last few days that have been perfectly exactly what I need
~Feeling like I'm on the fast track towards my big dream and that's okay. No, it's awesome!
~I made a new station on Pandora the other day and thumbs upped the first ten songs because it was just that awesome!
~New job possibility for my husband! Yay!
Kathryn, what station?!
Bob Marley- Three Little Birds. Either I didn’t know I liked Reggae as much as I do, that song doesn’t quite qualify as reggae or they just pulled from stuff I’ve liked on other stations that was similar. Either way, lots of singing going on!
