Hello Friends!
I had a powerful experience this week where I was able to find strength by allowing myself to be vulnerable. I have not often felt comfortable with vulnerability — in fact, most of my life I have felt it was a sign of weakness. Lately, I see it differently. I see it as a strength, I see it as empowering, I see it as another way to embrace myself and those around me. It is a gift. And I am grateful.
My Magic:
* Continuing to shift beliefs, let go of old lies and embrace new ways of being
* Seeing an opportunity for me to grow and do something different. It’s still a challenge, but I feel better doing something new
* My beloved – I love him with all of my heart
* Inspired writing and how much I am loving it
* Honoring myself – I’m learning and it feels good
* Having a moment of clarity and understanding last night that was very powerful
* Watching “Hotel Transylvania” with my boys tonight
* Playing outside in the snow and enjoying the beautiful weather
* My friends
* Loving with all my being
I hope you have an especially magical day today. There are so many moments of magic in our lives, I hope you take a moment to share them here with all of us! I love you!

Hey Sunshine, you look cute on that toad stool!
Going with the flow, ups and downs, forward and
backwards but doing it! Our internet is down since
the storm but I’m able to go online when I visit my daughter’s.

Love you and your magic! So glad you’ve stopped by!
Sunshine, what a great picture! And YES to strength in vulnerability! Another facet of authenticity, right?! Keep on ROCKIN ‘it!!!!!! I just LOVE reading about your New Life unfolding!!!!!
My Magic
* Fun date with my sexy, hot hubby last night (and YES, there was dessert!)
* Toasting to “US” last night as we congratulated ourselves in taking some difficult situations last month and using them as opportunities for BEAUTIFUL transformations. We agreed in the beginning of the month that we had to “get some traction” to propel us into the life we want…and we truly, truly have gotten traction and more…TOGETHER! We feel more US than we ever have. I’m so proud and happy for us! I see things finally coming through that have been on my Treasure Maps for years…and it makes me insanely grateful, grateful, GRATEFUL! YAY!!!!!
* TODAY IS A BRAND NEW MONTH! And due to the work we put in last month I feel we are cusped on an insanely gorgeous jumping-off point. YAY!!!!!
* Cleaning out more clutter!!!
* Going to the store with just my baby this morning. We always have fun shopping together and he happily munched on a bagel. So freakin’ cute!
* The boys are going to a museum with Papa today and I’m going to lay in bed and watch a movie ~ and eat a jalapeno grilled cheese…with cheese curls!
* We’re doing a “make-your-own-pizza” station tonight and we all love that!
* WHATEVER!!!!
Your hubby and you together magic is WONDERFUL, enjoy your pizzas
Love the energy of your magic, and the magic itself. I’m excited for you and your family. What a ride!
Love your magic and energy, dear sister! Fabulous!!!!
fabulous magic!
I love the fun date magic! And the decluttering! And the lazy movie watching with jalapeno grilled cheese! *Ü*
Teaching my baby to say a swear word, yesterday, and oh it makes me laugh!! When he says it it sounds like he is trying to say yuck, so my non swearing husband will never know
My husband taking good care of me while I am not feeling well!!
he just left to work for a lil bit, and the kids got restless I’m so happy I had a new craft for them to play with, I got the idea from Connecticut working moms
I am ready for a new month and to be feeling better for myself and my whole family and to spend some good time with my husband and my kids!!!
so fun to say!!!!!
my grumpiness from my sickness last night and this morning it’s actually making me and hubby laugh!!!!!
Yuck yuck yuck!!!!!!!!!!
OMG, I LOVE you for teaching R to swear ~ that totally cracked me up and made my heart fill with giggly LOVE! You totally rock! Feel better, Dear Sister. I just love your magic…as always!
So glad you’re laughing and feeling cared for!
being cared for… great feeling! Hope you get better very soon!
oh, el, you crack me up, teaching your baby to swear! I’m reminded of a toddler I was babysitting and one day while I was changing her poopy diaper, the phone rang, (I knew it was her mom and I should answer it so she wouldn’t worry) and I said “Oh, s***!” She started repeating it over and over, in a hopeful voice, looking to me to show her what it meant. lol I distracted her as soon as I could.
Vulnerability oh yes I am learning a lot about embracing that too. I LOVE your toadstool picture and I love that every time I pick up my camera at the moment it reminds me of you!

I knew the swimming would be fantastic! And WHERE did you go where there are waves and rapids to swim in right now??? Yay for energy!!!
Kate we are lucky that one of our our local pools is a seaside adventure themed one, its so much fun and really quiet in the afternoons when most kids are in school, I love my life!
I love that your camera reminds you of me too! How lovely!!!
It’s so wonderful to have some one-on-one time with our children, isn’t it? So glad you enjoyed your time together today!

~ My daughter’s first letter to her penpal set a time record in reaching it’s destination! Both kids are trilled!
~ I manifested a free piano this week! We let it go as it didn’t made our heart sing when we went to see it and take
measurement… But hey! this was just a warm up for the real manifestation of the perfect piano for us!
~ I can’t be 100% sure till we challenge it but I think going gluten-free is responsible for drastically decreasing the tantrum/meltdowns/aggressivity episodes in my 7yo! I feel free to enjoy her intensity and her push forward now that we have lost the drama part of it! <3
~ chatting on the phone with my bestfriend!

Savoring Magic
* my newly organized basement storage area.
* book club with my neighbors. It’s much more chat than book discussion, but that’s okay for now.
* Sampling water from around the world. I know it’s environmentally ridiculous, yet somehow feels right.
Shining Magic
* owning my Teacher aspect. Embracing it.
I love your Teacher aspect too!
Savor and Shine, dear friend!
I haven’t thought about vulnerability in a long time. hmmm.
MEM:
My kids playing for a long time in our cold, basement used for storage. I’m loving hearing them shift things around and play. Poor little cold tootsies though.
I’m working on a new flower blend for a website/concept, and I’m excited. I think this is where I excel. It feels good, but the concept is too big right now. I need to hone it in and figure it out. It’s fun work.
I currently have someone working on my website as a free project. It’s been tricky for me because there hasn’t been much communication and the work that has occurred doesn’t feel like me. I had a stomach tied up in knots all day, but after a conversation with my brother I feel better. phew.
I went to the library all by myself today and picked up some mystery books and some great looking books for my oldest. mwahh. that is me kissing books.
It’s Friday night and it’s such a special time for us a family. Dad is home for the weekend. It feels like a celebration. I’m hoping after little girl goes to bed, we will all play a game.
I’ve joined a free teleseminar for heart centered businesswomen. I’m loving it. 21 days of videos every day. It has been so eye opening and relaxign to watch. I can’t wait to get away in an hour to watch today’s video.
Singing songs with my 2 year old. They are magical at this age.
Amazing windy weather. I love the wind. The power. The gusts. It’s so exciting.
oh my goodness. the magic of being able to write this ENTIRE post without an interruption . . . hah! oh wait there was, but I was able to get back to it.
I am excited about your new flower blend website/concept! Can’t wait to hear more!
Some quickie magic before my Creative Session starts:
*LOVE LOVE LOVE your photos Sunshine!!! SO fun and creative!
*Sipping some hot lemon ginger tea right now
*Looking out at the ocean, its very quiet up in the conference room, while I hear the muffled activity in the cafe below. So peaceful!
*A beautiful day, blue sky, partly cloudy, very breezy, the ocean is glistening and choppy with waves, coconut tree leaves moving about in the wind
*Had my boys last night! Enjoyed reconnecting with them.
*Thai food for dinner last night, I treated everyone. It only cost $23 bucks and were able to feed 5 adults and 3 kids!! And the food is GOOD quality. Score.
*My new painting I’m working on. It’s of Ifit flowers, Ifit is a native tree to Guam, and the wood is amazing, and the flowers are gorgeous but rarely seen!
*You can see progress photos of the painting at http://facebook.com/CreativeIndeed
*Getting my boys up early and out of the house on time, even a little early for me to have some extra little quiet time before the session starts.
Love the new painting!!!
Sunshine, I love your playful, fun photos! And your magic, too. i am reading Daring Greatly by Brene Borwn and there’s a lot about vulnerability and what she calls shame resilience… powerful and interesting stuff!
~ Sunny day, feeling wintry again!
~ Lots of walking: just me and the dog, then me, boy and dog. Love being out in the fresh air!
~The days are getting noticeably longer!
~ I got my hair cut! And I love it! This is huge for me because I’ve had it long, often really long, for most of my life. And I’ve enjoyed that, but it’s time for a change. I went to a stylist a friend recommended, and I am so happy with what she did! I can’t believe how much I am enjoying my hair right now!
~ Making myself a chocolate smoothie for dinner. Hey, it had kale and chia and hemp seed in it, too. Filled me up and gave me a bit of a buzz.
~ Going to bed now where my kitties will snuggle close and warm.
