Hello Friends!!!
Well, I thought this would be a fun picture to post today. It’s from our trip to Florida last year. It seemed like a fun photo and then I realized it was kind of symbolic of my week. Here’s my take on the symbolism and my ‘wisdom’ for the day — Sometimes, we don’t have the choice whether or not to be in the water with crocodiles — but we can choose to swim, panic or flail about or we can choose to climb on top of the crocodile and smile!
This week, I flailed around a little, but then I decided to climb on top of the crocodile and smile! The latter was better by far!
My Magic
* Inspired Writing
* My baby is turning 11 tomorrow!
* Spending the day preparing for his birthday
* Gramma coming — everyone loves when Gramma’s here
* Writing another song on the piano this week and loving it more each day
* Having a fun day being creative and allowing myself time to do what I most wanted to do
* Talking to my friends on the phone and feeling so blessed with friendship
* Playing with photoshop and making fun cards for my son
* Watching my oldest son create and thrive
* Another day to chill at home
* My beloved
Of course, I need to add “Loving…with all my being” — it just didn’t fit at the end of my diamond! I hope you have a magical day. And, remember, if you find yourself in the water with a crocodile, hop on his back and smile! I love you all! Happy Friday!

You are so beautiful and creative that crocodile photo is fantastic. I hope you have a wonderful time celebrating, 11 is magical

So glad you’ve stopped by! Enjoy that time with that very special young lad!
Sunshine, oh how I LOVE your crocodile wisdom ~ that is absolutely PERFECT! You’re really bringing your magic (and pictures) to the 5th dimension ~ thank you! You are such a playful JOY, Dear Fabulous Sister!!!
My Magic…I feel I have a whole bunch!
* My oldest boy asked to go with me yesterday morning when I walked the dog. He doesn’t ever really want to do this so it was AWESOME that he asked. I loved having him with me in the cold woods as he told me all about ninjas. Just perfect.
* Ran into a helpful dog person yesterday in the woods who gave me some good dog training info.
* My dog training class for Lilah ( a Canine Good Citizen class) has been postponed and I could have been disappointed since I’ve been counting down the days until it starts, but I decided to be proactive instead and train her intensively on my own with what I already know. Lilah is awesome and a great learner and I’m really, really committed to being a GOOD dog owner. She’s my Divine Doggie and deserves to be treated as such. ♥
* Just as I left the house this early morning for a dog walk it started snowing. Lilah and I enjoyed the first flakes together.
* Playing outside with my oldest boy and my baby. Even though there was just a thin blanket of snow this morning, we were able to sled and it was so much fun!
* Grilled cheese, chips and a pickle for lunch. One of my favorites!
* Having some beautiful things “click” into place for me…instant understandings!
* Make our own pizza tonight and eating in the tap room while listening to music!
* Basement planning and getting estimates! We have all we need ~ it’s SO EASY! (I think “It’s so easy!” is my new mantra)
* Crocodile Magic!
* Giving my sons extra hugs and love just because I feel like it.
* My hubby rocks.
* I’m really enjoying taking Lilah’s training to the next level. Even though we’ve had her for a year now I feel like our relationship is just starting to truly blossom NOW. I’m so fortunate she was patient enough to wait for me. ♥ (We girls have to stick together!)
Fabulous magic, my friend! Love you so much!!!
I’m loving all your fun new pics! And I love the idea of choosing to climb on top of that crocodile and smile. I’ve been flailing too. But towards the end of this week, I can feel myself shifting to the smiling on top of a crocodile choice.
And happy birthday to your 11 yr old baby!
My magic;

*bedtime went well last night. the three of us are really enjoying the lion, the witch, and the wardrobe. we also finished book 2 of Zita the Spacegirl. That is a really fun graphic novel. Hope they have book 3 soon!
*talked with my kids about doing the orange rhino challenge of no yelling for a month. dd already knew and ds knows now and he thinks it’s a great idea. they agree they are going to help me by saying “orange rhino!” when they think i’m going to yell, and it will be a reminder to all of us to get off the escalator.
*my flower essence blend makes me feel so good
*finished up mad men last night and i just love that show so much. the last episode had a line where joan said “the money just keeps coming in!” and i thought, hey, that’s something i like right there! i’m feeling that feeling!
*going to do the workshift at ds’s preschool this afternoon. can’t wait, it’s so fun to hang out with all those kids.
*dinner with friends tonight. two moms and 4 kids and some board games. should be great!
Glad you’re shifting and smiling!!!
Enjoy the weekend, dear friend.

Magical Weekend
It’s tomorrow from since the crocodile post, but I’ve been having a beautiful, magical day. It snowed enough in the early morning hours that school was cancelled and we got to sleep in. Then, I drove 2 1/2 hours to a B&B to hang out with a friend for the weekend.
Savoring & Shining Magic, all in one
* Delicious dinner (oysters, sushi, and tuna + key lime pie) with my friend.
* A starlit walk back to the B&B
* Stopping to watch sheets of ice floating in the channel
* Chatting
* Awesome hubby who encouraged me to do this
Enjoy every minute!
Sounds AWESOME and especially AWESOME when hubbies encourage it!!
