Hey everyone! I hope you’re all doing well and everyone on the east coast is recouping from that huge storm! Wow, that was an adventure for sure. I’m going to keep it simple today, so what simple magic do you have?
My Magic;
~ these 3 feet of snow cancelled my classes today 
~ I’ve been skyping and oovooing with my best friends during this long weekend!
~ my sinus infection antibiotics are working, and even though I’m against antibiotics sometimes you just gotta do it.
~ the Grammys last night were amazing!
~ I’m looking forward to going up to Uconn to spend time with my friends this weekend!
~ just a simple past few days

~Snow! I’ve been enjoying the snow very much! Walked the dog in the woods in my snow shoes yesterday… definitely a work out!
~ Our electricity stayed on. Yay! We’ve been warm and cozy and on line all through the blizzard.
~ Having friends within easy walking distance… always good, but especially so in a big storm!
~ Taking my son to the school for his reading group and finding out the school is closed! Had to laugh at myself. I figured since the roads were clear, school was on. This makes today much more relaxed than the original plan. Yay!
~ Having a cameo appearance in a D&D game yesterday: I was a non- player character who told the fortunes of the characters the kids were playing. It was fun.
~ Showing off the new haircut to some old friends. They’ve known me for decades and never seen me with hair this short. I’m really enjoying it so it’s fun to hear an old friend say “I like it… a lot!”
~ Reading our math book ( Life of Fred) in which sets were discussed, and then watching my 8yo divide and re-divide all his Skylanders Giants characters into sets. Yeah, he’s got the concept.
~ Simply feeling happy.
My dad snow shoes all the time and loves it! I’ve gotta try it! I can feel your happy energy here, it’s lovely

*Our dear friends, Zac and Stepha, just had their first baby! She is a midwife. It wasn’t the homebirth she expected (in the hospital after the baby wouldn’t turn well into labor), but she is glowing in her pictures! It is so beautiful to see the way she just radiates joy! Welcome, baby squidge!!!
*As we are stressing out about some big decisions and lifestyle changes in our life, we keep getting reminders that EVERY option is a good one and there is no need to stress!
*A mini-Singing Alive this weekend, just a mile from our home!
*Yemma pulling out of the flu!
*Appreciating my family more than ever!
*Seeing Reed grow into a mature young man!
*Knitting sweaters!

* More organizing in the kitchen ~ it’s amazing how organizing, clearing, and cleaning can REALLY shift energy BIG-TIME!
* It’s raining and melting some of this snow ~ thank god!
* Another day at home but it’s been fun and peaceful and flowy!

Today was an interesting day because my husband stayed home from work because he now has the stomach bug. I seem to be getting it again.
I’m a day late on a work related deadline. it’s a bummer, but I’ve been given a grace period.
snow! We’ve been having fun playing in it even though it rained today.
no nap for little girl which means she will be asleep soon! yip.
