It was 12:22 PST when I realized I was late in posting any magic.
Among the few things that haven’t gone right, I realized it’s been a bit nice not knowing what day/date it is.

* laying around this morning doing things as I feel them.
* adventure with the bf yesterday.
* waking up in the middle of the night to notice he’d cleaned up my room.
* ladybugs!
* cute kitty with pink toenails
* friendly neighbors
* cuddles
* knowing that it will be okay :D

Wednesday Magic!

Yesterday my cousin asked me how I was doing. I took a sigh of relief and said,
“Happy. Really happy. I don’t think I’ve ever smiled so much.”

Things have just been so wonderful, the stress is miniscule compared to the amazement.

Here’s my list of what’s making that smile so big:

* happy in love
* cuddles
* seeing the results of my efforts
* new adventures with my love
* signed up for a competition to challenge myself in my craft
* sleeeeep
* being content with the choices I make for the life I want
* respect from & for loved ones
* spending quality time with friends I’d missed

Is it just me, or do the weeks seem to be passing quickly?
Maybe a lot more has been happening – I know I’m tired!

* LOTS of sleep – seriously, I don’t know where Monday went.

* embracing CHANGE – & embracing the light tears (happy included) that come with it

* moving my stuff (haven’t even slept at my new place yet!) & decorating in my head :p

* handling all of life’s lemons with my Love – we make a great team <3
esp. since a lot of it fell on us at the same time – we seem to be resilient!

* help from unexpected places.

* looking for courage to ask for help elsewhere!

* CHOCOLATE TREATS – lol

So I’ve categorized today as “Just Being” – because who else can we be but our awesome selves :) ;
“Dare Yourself” – because sometimes we just need to take that lead of faith;
& “Even Though” – because, dammit, the magic is there even when ish seems to be hitting the fan.

Just Being Magic 3/27/12 March 27, 2012

Today will be a simple and soothing magic.  I’m still feeling a bit raw from all of the activity from my son’s simple birthday party, and the sad feelings my son experienced. I so much just want to fix it all for him and my other sweeties.  It is not realistic or possible, so today instead of fixing, I’m just going to be me and accept my up and down feelings and just be with my amazing family.  Today we are just going to be together, quiet, recover from the hoopla of yesterday – maybe a couple of games.  Maybe if we have the energy, a trip to the library. And definitely, some leftover cupcakes.  : )

This is a day to restore for the Firefairy family.

Simple seems to be a common theme and I’m sticking with it! On a personal level, I’m trying to take things one step at a time while feeling things out so I don’t overwhelm myself.

MEM:
* a resolution to a confusing problem – so far it’s working.
* I have an interview today for a 2nd job – I hope it works out. I need more income.
* pinterest
* a movie day with my Love after work yesterday – it was perfect because I was oddly tired.
* finishing a book – now I get to look for another :)
* happy thoughts of the past few days :)

Mardi Gras!

Hey y’all! Your Flirty Fairy has been SOOOOO super busy with my new twinnies that I have not been sharing my EM, and I miss it SO much! It’s amazing how wonderful it makes me feel. So when the Star Fairy asked me to post today, I jumped at the chance! Plus, it’s my Half Birthday :)

It’s so important, even when you’ve gotten away from a daily practice, to get back to it. Even if that just means jumping back in once in a while. I know what stops me sometimes is saying, well, if I only do it once that’s no good, so I might as well not do it at all – NOT true! A step forward is a step forward, even if it’s just a baby step. So here’s my BIG step (or flutter, for those of you wearing your wings).

My Everyday Magic:

  • My kitties waking me up by sitting on my chest and purring – have I mentioned I love them??
  • My sweetie, who made me DELICIOUS tacos for dinner the other night. OMG you guys, I think if I had unlimited tacos I’d eat them til I died.
  • My twinnie girls! They are SO sweet. And their parents are awesome!
  • ABUNDANCE!
  • Decluttering! We organized our 2nd bedroom (aka crap storage room) the other night and it was surprisingly quick and easy!
  • Looking forward to a relaxing weekend
  • The beautiful weather we’ve been having! After last winter, we deserve a mild one :)

Happy Wednesday!
I know it will be for me. My love and I just got back from a mini-road trip that was just amazing :)
So today will be full of rest and getting back into the groove.

Happy Wednesday!
Well life’s been pretty wonderful ~ I wish I could be more inspiring than that ;)
But.. IT JUST IS <3
I am happier than I was this time last year, so I actually get to enjoy the holiday season (I was looking forward to being scrooge again :p)

* christmas cookies for breakfast (I guess my post is late, but it’s morning where I am)
* feeling productive
* I found my creative purpose again ;) I look forward to developing it in the new year!
* a fun little hike my love and I went on yesterday!
* a magical, comfy Minute all to myself! (It’s so rare these days)

I really want those cookies now, so I will sign out ;)
Hope the day is more magical for ALL OF US & that we come back to share!

I’m a bit under the weather, so apologies for (yet another) late start! x)

* knowing it’s the 16th b/c payday was yesterday
* ^ first payday in a long while (so it was nice to get a check w/ my name on it)
* feeling sick, so sleeping early!
* shift not till late afternoon, so NO alarm needed to be set
* movie date w/ the boy :)
* finding that the last responses to my posts have come in 13′s (it’s the little things I swear)
* the sun is OUT (it’s cold, but still)
* looking forward to making a soup tongiht that reminds me of growing up and will surely cure what ails me <3
