ANNOUNCEMENT: One of THIS WEEKEND’S posters will win $50! Details in yesterday’s post…
There’s more New Fairy energy at My Everyday Magic – this time in the form of a husband/wife team! We are delighted to join the fairy fleet and share our special form of magic with you all! You can read more about us in our bio.
We believe in magic. We see it at work every single day in our lives. We actively work with our dreams, passions and goals to achieve amazing things. However, most of the time we don’t “worry” about making things happen. Things generally have a way of working themselves out in miraculous ways. Our lives are not perfect. They are full of challenges, big and small. Shortly after our daughter was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis, we realized that life is too short to let our dreams go unrealized. We must embrace the whole of life (warts and all), and manifest what it is that we want more of.
The other day I went to a new yarn store just to check it out. In the course of a half hour of fun conversation, I left the yarn store with several amazing offers: to decorate the window display of the store with the items we make (for the entire month of January!), to be the featured artist at our town’s Gallery Walk this month, and to have an ongoing venue to sell our fiber-related arts. Then the owner (whom I had just met) threw $100 of supplies into a bag as a gift to me and my sons!
This sort of thing happens to us all the time. We often just sit back and giggle at how easily everything can work out when you infuse Love and Magic into your action. We are not the sort of people to just close our eyes, make a wish and expect everything will just magically appear. Nor are we the type that dwell and worry. We get clear on what it is we want in life, then take tangible action in that direction. Then we see the Magic pour in!!!
Today I would love to hear about a time in your life when things worked out “better than you could have possibly imagined”. Know that this is possible all the time. Magic is Real.
