(still makes me laugh thinking about it!) my boy wanted to sleep with me in the guest room so 5 year old B decided she would sleep with us! listening to the rain and wind all night, and rustling children in the bed. breakfasting on left over party food... guacamole and chips, and chili dried mango and pineapple! now my hubby has taken our boy off to riding lesson and other adventures so I have time to myself! hearing from an old friend that she is pregnant! being able to come here and share magic with all of you! Going to our friends’ housewarming party yesterday!

I started off grouchy and cranky feeling, annoyed that no one appreciated all my work to get ready for my ds1's party. Then... *dh brought me starbucks *ds1 actually did ALL his chores, etc, with no complaints, asking for how to do it better, etc * had a quiet moment before the party to look around and just feel good in my clean organized home :) * the guests arrived slowly, so I actually got to chat with all the moms, who I am friends with but had missed for quiet some time. * NO arguing. The whole party was fun for all, big and little (even grown ups) *My lil Bug had 2 near blow ups. And both times was able to breath, talk to me, and work it out. This is huge, large groups overwhelm him and have led to many screaming meltdowns. But he did it! *Nice talk with my mom after the party while I fixed her computer. Cleared some air *Best of all, came home and my Noodle went to sleep with dh. 29m old, she's never done that! So cool!!! Today’s magic snuck up on me.
